Dan, our Head Trainer, co-ordinates client programmes with the practitioners, and works with personal training and coaching clients directly. Dan has over 13 years experience as a personal trainer having studied with YMCA, previously working at Holmes Place and as a freelance personal trainer, before setting up Genesis in 2010. As well as working with the body, Dan enjoys changing the habbits of the mind. He is a qualified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner having studied with PPD Learning. Dan has an MA in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Chris is an experienced REPs 3 Personal Trainer, with a passion for fitness which is unrivalled. His specialism is in the field of core strength/ stability training and weight loss. Chris became a Director of the business in 2015.

 

Chris holds a National Diploma in Sports Science, a Level 3 NVQ in Sports Management, and is a REPs 3 Advanced Instructor. Chris is an expert in effecting dramatic body transformations and teaches our high energy Boxing classes.

Victoria is a REPs 3 qualified Personal Trainer, with a passion for exercise and is a natural motivator.

Victoria is also an England Athletics coaching assistant; a martial arts instructor (3rd Dan Black Belt in Wu Shu Kwan Chinese Kickboxing). She is also a competitive runner (Age graded 79%) at distances from 3k to marathon and has completed over 20 marathons (after having a baby). Victoria has a Masters degree from Goldsmiths, University of London and comes from a project management background.

Andrew is a REPS level 4 personal trainer. He has trained athletes who have medaled at national championships and competed through to amateur world championships. He has a primary focus on cardiovascular sport performance. Andrew is qualified to train patients with a range of medical conditions referred by a GP (eg cardiac rehabiliation and stroke). Andrew has also competed in 3 sports as a junior at National Championships (including Sailing and Athletics). As a senior elite cyclist he competed internationally for many seasons, becoming Regional Champion and a Category 1 - 2 Cycling Coach. He has also been down to a 4 handicap in golf.

I am a nutritional therapist who trained at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), completing my three year nutritional therapy diploma in 2013, achieving a distinction, and winning the Ian Marber (Food Doctor) award for 'Outstanding Literature Review', an academic research paper relating to Alzheimer's disease and Omega-3 fatty acids. I consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. My areas of specialism within nutritional therapy include sports nutrition, fat loss, energy & fatigue and IBS.

Modestas has been involved in multiple sports since he was 9 years old and played badminton, basketball, football, Thai boxing and general fitness but he’s main achievements were gained in football: playing international youth level for Lithuania. Playing a high level of football lead to a an increased number of injuries so he decided to become a Sports Therapist and prevent active people from getting injured and help them to recover if injury had occurred.

Emma Joy is a Level 3 Personal Trainer with CPD training in Circuits, Spin, Gym Box & advanced nutrition.
Having found a love for running marathons, she has made it her mission to run all top 5 international marathons. 
She has been shortlisted for health & wellbeing award for Cosmopolitan magazine, and also for the Influencer of the Year Award for Women's Running magazine. She is also a race ambassador for the magazine and even appeared on their front cover August 2017.

Parisian born Estelle Garcin left acting to dedicate her life to yoga. Today, yogini and mother of two, she specialises in Meditation, Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga.
 
Following her first teacher training with The Power Yoga Company, she carried on with Shiva Rea, Kino MacGregor, Norman Blair..to name a few.
She teaches groups as well as one to one, retreats and workshops.
 
She specialises in hands on assists. Her classes are tailored to her students individual requirements. A typical class will incorporate meditation and a physical practice, some restorative time to leave you empowered, balanced, happy!

Henry is a native of Nashville, Tennessee in the USA and has lived worked and
studied in the UK since 2002. He works as a visiting lecturer, academic
consultant, and certified personal fitness trainer and exercise professional. 


He has over 10 years experience as a fitness professional both here and abroad.

As well as his work with the body and performance within the fitness industry, Henry has also completed the PhD in Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London.
He holds an MA in Performance Studies from New York University, Tisch School of the Art, an MSc in Psychology from the University of East London, and a BA in Drama and Dance from Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia, USA.

 

Henry’s interests lie in all areas of the body pertaining to biomechanics and
physicality, body politics and re-presentation, performance and fitness.

Coming from a Dance background, she has always had an interest in how the body works and its capabilities. Not getting punched in the face at my first Genesis fight club 

 

Tatianna grew up on sports and dance teams, helping her to appreciate the social aspect of dance and fitness, and understand the benefits of fitness beyond health alone.

 

Tatianna started teaching when still in high school, and continued to do so at University, which included choreographing  two main stage productions.

 

Once graduated Tatianna knew she wanted to further study in the area of fitness and continue to bring the joy of dance and fitness to dancers and non-dancers. She specialises in jazz, modern, contemporary and musical theatre training.
